J Street at TBE: Having the Israel Conversation (In Person)

Join J Street at TBE for an interactive workshop with J Street’s New England Director, Janette Hillis-Jaffe, to explore how we can most effectively have tough conversations about Israel. We’ll explore how to find points of agreement; de-escalate disagreements; communicate across generations and political differences; and answer tough questions about the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and its impact on US politics from J Street’s perspective and from your own.

Janette Hillis-Jaffe is J Street’s Senior Director for New England and has been part of J Street’s leadership since shortly after its founding in 2008. She has also lived in Israel for seven years and has thousands of hours of experience engaging in these challenging conversations with creativity, care, and, occasionally, a good sense of humor.
